New Degree-Seeking Student Admissions
Students interested in seeking a degree need to apply directly to the academic program in which they are interested. The department will provide you with University and departmental admission requirements. A complete listing of departments offering degree programs through Mizzou Online is available in Degrees and Programs. An application fee will apply.
Select departments allow students to begin their program of study as a non-degree student pending acceptance into the degree program. Check the departmental requirements in your area of interest before starting the Mizzou Online enrollment process. If you have questions, contact the Student Coordinator in your area/department or contact Mizzou Online online or at 800-609-3727.
- Until you are officially admitted to a degree program, you will not qualify for federal financial aid.
- Massachusetts residents: You are not eligible to enroll in courses or programs that require in-MA clinical experiences (e.g. Supervised clinical courses) or any internships, externships or practica.
Students Applying to a Graduate Degree Program
For MU graduate admission requirements, visit Graduate Studies.
To receive graduate credit at the University of Missouri, students are required to provide an official baccalaureate transcript from a regionally accredited institution.
Ask the degree-granting institution to send transcripts to:
- Graduate Studies
- 210 Jesse Hall
- Columbia, MO 65211
- Fax: 573-884-5454
All transcripts must include the official degree conferred and the date the degree was awarded. Applications will be processed after the transcript is received. An official transcript will still be required.
If the undergraduate degree is from MU, or if an official copy of the bachelor's degree transcript is already on file, additional information is not necessary.
