Returning degree-seeking students may need to reapply if you have been away for a certain amount of time. That time, along with your reapplication process, varies based on your academic level.

Reapplying as an undergraduate

If it has been more than one semester (not including summer session) since your last enrollment, complete the following before enrolling in a course:

Reapplying as a graduate

If it has been more than two semesters since your last graduate enrollment at Mizzou, complete the following before enrolling in a course:

  • Complete the Graduate School Re-Activation form.
  • Send the form to the department to which you are requesting re-enrollment.
  • Send transcripts for all college work completed since last attending Mizzou.
  • Send test scores for the GRE or other exams required by the department, if not previously submitted.
  • Get details from the Graduate School.

Current degree-seeking students need to reapply only if you have been away for a certain amount of time. That time, along with your reapplication process, varies based on your academic level.

Current degree-seeking students

Current degree-seeking students need to reapply if you are changing your degree program. If you are not changing your program, but have been out for three or more consecutive semesters, you need to submit a Former Graduate Student Refresh Registration Eligibility Form to update your records.

Returning degree-seeking students

If you’ve been out less than three consecutive semesters, you can work with an adviser to enroll in courses through Joe’SS.
