Exploration of the evolution of a resilience approach to the study of families and human development. Using a lifespan approach, students will explore resilience across time as well as within special populations such as families experiencing crisis and trauma, culturally diverse families, and military families. Graded on A-F basis only.

Course Comments

This course is offered as part of the Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance, a multi-state, inter-institutional program comprised of several mid-West universities.  Students enroll at their home campuses and take the course with students from other participating universities.  Information on each student is entered into the GPIDEA database to create a course roster based on enrollments from all universities.
