The Freedom of Online Courses

The University of Missouri offers hundreds of online credit and noncredit courses so you have the flexibility to pursue your interests from the comfort of your own home and when it’s convenient for you.

Mizzou offers FOR-CREDIT courses for learners at all levels:

High School courses
More than 180 high school courses wait for you. Whether your school can't offer certain subjects because of budget constraints or you are a gifted student and want to work ahead, MU High School is ready to help.

Elementary/Middle School courses
Students in younger grades can use these distance education courses to supplement the curriculum of private, public, or charter schools or for enrichment purposes, remediation, or instead of summer school. We also offer gifted online accelerated courses and special topics courses for middle school students.

 

NONCREDIT OPTIONS

Many busy adults look to our noncredit courses to upgrade professional skills, prepare for new careers and/or satisfy personal interests. Two departments at Mizzou offer online noncredit programs:
