Program structure and topics
This program is 100 percent online: no campus visits are required.
Online courses have varying lengths. Semester courses are 8 or 16 weeks in length, and start and end on specific dates. Self-paced courses let you enroll anytime, work at your own pace and take up to six months to finish each course.

- General studies and basic skills, including a foreign language
- Arts and science foundation requirements
Note Unlike the bachelor of general studies (BGS), the bachelor of arts in interdisciplinary studies (BA) requires 12–13 credit hours in a foreign language.
