Tuition and financial aid
A bachelor’s degree requires 120 credit hours, but the typical transfer student admitted to this program needs only 85 credit hours to complete this bachelor’s degree. Your hours and costs will differ, depending on your transfer hours, course choices at Mizzou and your academic progress.
These estimates are for illustrative purposes only and are based on academic year 2017 information. They include:
- Great Plains undergraduate tuition of $376.80 per credit hour for 51 credit hours of core course requirements, plus
- Missouri resident undergraduate tuition of $276.20 per credit hour for additional courses, plus
- College of Arts and Science course fee of $35 per credit hour for additional courses, plus
- Information technology fee of $13.20 per credit hour.

This program is administered by the Department of Human Development and Family Science.
The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the fees charged for attendance and other services at the University when the Board of Curators considers it in the best interest of the University to do so. Any increase in fees must be approved by the Board of Curators not less than thirty (30) days prior to the beginning of the academic term (semester, etc.) to which these fees will be applied. Any change in fees will be effective irrespective of whether fees have or have not been paid by or on behalf of a student prior to the effective date of the modification.
