Delivery of this program is 100 percent online: no campus visits are required. Successful completion requires a minimum of 30 credit hours.

This program has two options for study:

  1. Clinical Education/Administration
  2. Clinical Research

Clinical Education/Administration students take F_C_MD 8491 Field Experience in Medical Education in their second year of study. Clinical Research students take F_C_MD 8450 Research in Community Health instead of the field experience course.

Nondegree-seeking enrollment

Prior to acceptance into the program, you may enroll in up to 9 credit hours as a nondegree-seeking (in some cases, post-baccalaureate) student. Enrollment does not guarantee acceptance. Learn more about nondegree-seeking university student admissions.

States require that the University of Missouri-Columbia be authorized to deliver university-level distance/online education to their residents. Each state handles this process differently.
