Courses

Courses for this program are 100% online: no campus visits are required.

Successful completion of the program requires 120 credit hours of course work, which may include transfer credits from other regionally accredited institutions.

The 27-hour core curriculum begins with an introduction to organizational leadership and ends with a capstone course that requires students to demonstrate organizational leadership mastery in a work setting. Students will also receive training in professional communications, information systems, critical thinking, business ethics and more, during their core course work.

Our program is designed so each student has the opportunity to focus their training on a specific field by selecting a 9-hour area of concentration.

There is also a language requirement which includes a minimum of 11 hours of any introductory foreign language course and 2 more courses either focused on foreign language or culture.

Transfer students

The number of credits you need to take will depend on the type of previous credit earned and the institutions' accreditation and transfer equivalencies. The admissions office will determine your transfer credit once they receive your official transcripts and application. Visit the University of Missouri-St. Louis Course Equivalency site to determine credit equivalencies from courses taken at other institutions.
