The online master’s in information systems and technology (MSIST) from UMSL is an extremely flexible and stackable certificate program that does not require prior knowledge of technology. Dinesh Mirchandani.

Dr. Mirchandai’s research contributes to the field of information systems in three primary areas, which include information systems planning practices in organizations, implementation of large scale information systems and adoption of electronic commerce and electronic government. His research has been published in academic journals such as Communications of the ACM, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Journal of Organizational Computing and Electronic Commerce, Journal of Global Information Management, Information & Management, Information Systems Journal, and Omega.

Vivek Singh, PhD

Vivek Kumar Singh is an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) of information systems and technology. He received his PhD from the University of South Florida, Tampa. His research focuses on applications of data mining techniques in security of cloud computing, health care analytics and online learning. He has published articles in Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association, Psychology and Marketing, and Psychological Studies, and in premier information systems conference outlets include ICIS, AMCIS, and HICSS.
