One Canvas Migration
In August, everyone will begin using the new UM System instance of Canvas at umsystem.instructure.com. Students can save their work before August. Faculty do not need to do this — all of the course and student content is archived for records retention. Students who have taken an Incomplete on a course should work with their instructors to finalize those grades before August if at all possible.
Contact us at Canvas@umsystem.edu if you have any questions or concerns about the One Canvas Migration.
SmarterProctoring
Our partnership with Proctorio ends today, June 1, and we will begin using SmarterProctoring for automated proctoring this Summer 2021 semester and beyond. SmarterProctoring allows instructors to seamlessly offer online proctoring options to students, which provides more flexibility and increases student choice.
Contact us at TeachingTools@umsystem.edu for direct assistance and support in implementing SmarterProctoring in your course, find documentation or register to attend training.
Mizzou Self-Paced Platform
Over the next two years, all Mizzou self-paced classes will be migrating from the Mizzou Self-Paced Platform (SPP) to One Canvas. We will be sunsetting the SPP by October 1, 2023; Spring 2023 classes will be the last classes that can use the SPP.
Please refer to this page for more information. Contact us at KeepLearning@umsystem.edu if you have any questions or concerns about the migration from the SPP.
Faculty professional development
