Last year, more than 9,100 students enrolled in courses supported by Mizzou Online, which is the administrative gateway for MU schools and colleges to offer their distance degrees, certificates and courses. Of those distance students, 74 percent were within Missouri borders, and more than 200 enrolled from countries around the world. The average age of undergraduate students in a distance degree program was 32 and degree-seeking graduate students averaged 36 years old.
