“I’m an older disabled student and would not be able to participate if not for online classes, so I feel blessed to be able to go to school from my house. UMSL’s online classes have deadlines, discussion boards, and assignments. You have a syllabus and work independently. We use discussion boards to interact with other students and with professors.  Professors are willing to communicate with students by email, text, or phone.  I’ve had a good experience.  Met some beautiful professors who have been really patient with me, so I have no complaints.  As for the technology that’s needed to take online classes, if I can do it, anyone can do it! Sometimes it has its challenges, but it challenges me to learn something new.”
