The curriculum for this master's degree features theoretical courses and administrative practice to provide the needed knowledge, skills and insight to create effective nurse leaders in a variety of diverse roles. The nursing practice degree in health-care systems provides a broad base of leadership and management experiences designed to be valuable across multiple health-care settings.

Students obtain the basics of leadership in nursing and health-care systems education via online courses. Clinical courses require campus visits.
