If you take these courses as a non-degree-seeking student, you will not qualify for federal financial aid.
Some students take these courses toward the Undergraduate Dean's Certificate of Achievement in Veterinary Biomedical Technology while enrolled in another degree program. Federal financial aid eligibility would be because of that degree program.
The Student Financial Aid Office can provide information and assist you with federal aid and upcoming scholarship deadlines.
Academic scholarship for veterinary technicians
An academic-based scholarship is available for veterinary technicians who have graduated in the top 10 percent of their veterinary technician class and achieved GRE scores of 151 (verbal) and 142 (quantitative) or higher. Recipients also must be working toward an online MU degree or certificate in veterinary biomedical technology. Veterinary online programs are administered by the College of Veterinary Medicine.
The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the fees charged for attendance and other services at the University when the Board of Curators considers it in the best interest of the University to do so. Any increase in fees must be approved by the Board of Curators not less than thirty (30) days prior to the beginning of the academic term (semester, etc.) to which these fees will be applied. Any change in fees will be effective irrespective of whether fees have or have not been paid by or on behalf of a student prior to the effective date of the modification.
