The online graduate certificate in public health is 100 percent online: no campus visits are required.
Successful completion of the program requires 12 credit hours of course work from several disciplines.
Courses are 3 credit hours each, unless stated otherwise. The University reserves the right to change or cancel courses as needed.
Students who complete their Graduate Certificate program with a cumulative 3.0 or better GPA may transfer into the MPH program without needing to submit a new application for admission. Students should work closely with the MPH Academic Advisor to ensure that courses taken toward their graduate certificate will also count toward their MPH program.
States require that the University of Missouri be authorized to deliver university-level distance/online education to their residents. Each state handles this process differently.
