Program structure

Through 30 credit hours, the online master of accountancy introduces advanced concepts while expanding professionals’ existing business foundation.

Students entering the program without a bachelor’s in accounting start with a series of prerequisites. Those with this credential begin with six required credit hours covering auditing theory and strategic analysis. From here, students customize their degree through various accounting and core business electives.

The School of Accountancy holds courses using a semester schedule. Students can complete the program entirely online and are encouraged to attend career fairs, symposia, professional development workshops and other campus events.

Students with full-time jobs typically take one class each semester and finish the program in one to three years.
