Delivery of this program is 100 percent online: no campus visits are required. Courses are offered in 8- or 16-week sessions.
Successful completion of the program requires 30 credit hours. Courses are 3 credit hours each, unless stated otherwise.
The chart below shows the courses that are traditionally offered. You will work closely with your adviser on all course selection decisions. The University reserves the right to change or cancel courses as needed.
As a SISLT student, you have the opportunity to earn graduate credits and valuable experience in an internship. As an intern, students sign up for IS_LT 9480 and earn 1 credit hour for every 45 work hours they complete. Prior to acceptance into the program, you may enroll in up to 9 credit hours as a non degree-seeking (in some cases, post-baccalaureate) student. Enrollment does not guarantee acceptance. Learn more about non degree-seeking university student admissions.
States require that the University of Missouri be authorized to deliver university-level distance/online education to their residents. Each state handles this process differently.
