Courses

Delivery of this program is 100 percent online: no campus visits are required.

Successful completion of the program requires 30 credit hours from the courses listed below.

Course planner

Courses are 3 credit hours each, unless stated otherwise. The University reserves the right to change or cancel courses as needed.

Culmination

The program culminates in a web-based portfolio in which you will demonstrate mastery of the program competencies. The portfolio serves as the comprehensive exam at the end of the program of study. There is a course (IS_LT 7378) to facilitate your portfolio development.

Internship opportunities

As a SISLT student, you have the opportunity to earn graduate credits and valuable experience in an internship. As an intern, students sign up for IS_LT 9480 and earn 1 credit hour for every 45 work hours they complete. Learn more about the real-world knowledge that students gain from learning technologies and design internships.

State authorization

States require that the University of Missouri be authorized to deliver university-level distance/online education to their residents. Each state handles this process differently.
