Courses

Delivery of this program is 100% online, and you are encouraged, but not required, to visit campus for one week each spring for Data Science Week. 

In your first year, you’ll be able to focus on the intensive application of the core curriculum and execution of a project from beginning to end. In your second year, you can showcase your capstone and collaborate with industry partners.

Successful completion requires a minimum of 34 credit hours.

Course planner

Courses are 3 credit hours each, unless otherwise indicated. The University reserves the right to change or cancel courses as needed.

Nondegree-seeking enrollment

Prior to acceptance into the program, you may enroll in up to 12 credit hours as a nondegree-seeking (in some cases, post-baccalaureate) student. Enrollment does not guarantee acceptance. Learn more about nondegree-seeking university student admissions.

State authorization

States require that the University of Missouri be authorized to deliver university-level distance/online education to their residents. Each state handles this process differently.
