Steve Ball

Steve Ball is the director of the fitness programming and management programs and teaches exercise techniques. Dr. Ball has won many awards at the University of Missouri (Mizzou), including the prestigious Kemper Fellowship for Teaching Excellence and Outstanding Online Course Design.

He went to Mizzou for undergraduate classes and was the 1994 Captain of the baseball team.

Rebekah Carpenter is an assistant professor for fitness programming and management. Dr. Carpenter teaches exercise techniques and fitness programming. She is passionate about preparing students to hone a skill set in strength and conditioning and be confident in their instructional abilities out in the field. Dr. Carpenter has a background in female human performance and brings evidence-based practices into the classroom.

Jacob Linn

Jacob Linn serves as an assistant professor of fitness programming and management. Linn loves teaching from experience gained in collegiate performance training and clinical exercise physiology. Committed to maximizing aspiring fitness professionals’ skills, he teaches courses including exercise techniques, foundations of movement in exercise, fitness programming and an internship in fitness programming management, bridging the gap between theory and practice.
