Delivery of this program is blended. Courses may be offered in 8- or 16-week sessions. You will obtain the basics of nurse educator theory via online courses, but a two-day campus visit is required during the summer before you begin your coursework for orientation to the master's program. Additional campus visits may be required for selected leadership specialty courses.

The chart below shows the courses that are traditionally offered. Each course is 3 credit hours, unless stated otherwise. The University reserves the right to change or cancel courses as needed.
State authorization
States require that the University of Missouri be authorized to deliver university-level distance/online education to their residents. Each state handles this process differently.
