Delivery of this program is blended: You will complete most course work online, but some campus visits are required.

Successful completion requires a minimum of 72 credit hours beyond the baccalaureate degree. If you enter with a graduate degree from another accredited institution, you can transfer in a maximum of 30 credits. You must complete at least 42 credit hours at MU. The typical post-baccalaureate student takes 77 credit hours, typical post-master's takes 59 credit hours, and the typical post-clinical doctorate student takes 48 credit hours.

In collaboration with the doctoral program committee, you will determine your plan of study and total credit hours necessary to prepare to successfully complete your dissertation research.
