Student health services
The Student Health Center provides a variety of health-related services and information.
- Students enrolled solely in online courses are not automatically billed the Prepaid Health Fee through the Cashiers Office.
- By paying the health fee each semester, students who are in close proximity to campus may take advantage of services such as primary-care physician visits, in-house lab work, and a pharmacy.
- Students also may use the Student Health Center on a fee-for-service basis.
For further information on health services, contact the Student Health Center via telephone: 573-882-7481, or visit the Student Health Center's website.
Student ID cards
All new Mizzou students taking university courses for credit can request an ID card (Mizzou TigerCard) at no charge. When presented with a photo ID such as your driver’s license, the student ID allows you to:
- Access any University of Missouri System library (Mizzou, UMKC, Missouri S&T, UMSL).
- Request books through MERLIN or MOBIUS.
- Use computer labs on campus.
- Use for student discount purchases (movie tickets, Mizzou event tickets).
The first ID is free of charge. If a replacement ID is requested, the charge is $25. The charge will be made to your student account through the Cashiers Office.
If you plan to come to Mizzou’s campus to obtain an ID card, see the Division of IT website for instructions.
If you do not plan to visit Mizzou’s campus to obtain an ID card, you may request a digital ID by submitting a school-appropriate photo for verification.
To submit your photo, go to idcardmanager.missouri.edu, log in, and click Submit ID Photo. In step three of the verification steps, click Upload a New Photo and add your photo for verification. For upload tips, go to: https://doit.missouri.edu/services/id-cards.
After submitting your photo, watch your university email for a verification confirmation. If your status says "PENDING” for more than 5+ business days, you must re-submit your photo. This indicates that your photo and ID Document were not successfully uploaded.
Once you receive the verification email, visit the Mizzou Mobile ID website for instructions on how to download your digital ID to your smartphone.
Academic integrity
Before submitting an assignment, it is a good idea to become familiar with the university’s academic integrity policy. Whenever you aren’t sure how to handle something, such as citing a source you found at the library or figuring out what is and isn’t plagiarism, ask your course instructor.
