One of the most important parts of an online education is staying in sync with your instructor’s assignments. We’ll show you how to get the books you need for your courses, and, whenever possible, we’ll help you stay within budget.
Finding the right edition
Your instructors have put together a list of what you’ll need ahead of time. Find your specific course and section number through your student information system. Keep in mind that textbooks for semester-based courses are available approximately one month before the course start date.
Once you have your course and section number, your university's bookstore is your first stop for textbooks. Not only can you order all the books you need online, but they also offer a tool that lets you compare the prices of the bookstore’s new and used books with those from other sources.
If you are ready to part with your gently used textbooks, your options depend on if the book was for a semester-based or self-paced course.
Self-paced (Mizzou students only): Fill out The Mizzou Store’s sellback form. Once the Mizzou Store receives your form, you'll receive an email with directions.
