Delivery of this program is 100 percent online: no campus visits are required. However, you may choose to enroll in electives that require face-to-face meetings on campus.
Successful completion of the program requires 30 credit hours. At least 16 credit hours must be at the 8000 level. The typical program of study involves 20 credits of mathematics education courses and 10 credits of master's level core.

The chart below shows when the courses are traditionally offered. You may take courses in any order. Please note that some courses are offered only in ODD (e.g., 2021) or EVEN (e.g., 2022) years. Courses are 3 credit hours each, unless stated otherwise. The University reserves the right to change or cancel courses as needed. Remember to talk with your advisor before making your plan of study to check the course offerings.
State authorization
States require that the University of Missouri-Columbia be authorized to deliver university-level distance/online education to their residents. Each state handles this process differently.
