Delivery of this program is 100 percent online: no campus visits are required. However, you may choose to enroll in electives that require face-to-face meetings on campus.
Successful completion of the program requires 30 credit hours. The typical program of study involves 18 credits of mathematics education courses, 9 credits of master's level core, and 3 elective credits approved by your advisor. At least 15 credit hours must be at the 8000 level.

The chart below shows when the courses are traditionally offered. You may take courses in any order. Please note that some courses are offered only in ODD (e.g., 2021) or EVEN (e.g., 2022) years. Courses are 3 credit hours each, unless stated otherwise. The University reserves the right to change or cancel courses as needed. Remember to talk with your advisor before making your plan of study to check the course offerings.

States require that the University of Missouri be authorized to deliver university-level distance/online education to their residents. Each state handles this process differently.
