Courses

Delivery of this program is 100 percent online: no campus visits are required.

Successful completion of the program requires 17 credit hours of required courses and 13 credit hours of electives.

Course planner

The courses below are 3 credit hours each, unless stated otherwise. The University reserves the right to change or cancel courses as needed.

Culmination

The program culminates with a capstone project (IS_LT 9483), in which you will synthesize your learning and demonstrate mastery of the competencies for the selected emphasis area by designing and developing an online course.

Internship opportunities

As a SISLT student, you have the opportunity to earn graduate credits and valuable experience in an internship. As an intern, students sign up for IS_LT 9480 and earn 1 credit hour for every 45 work hours they complete. Learn more about the real-world knowledge that students gain from learning technologies and design internships.

Nondegree-seeking enrollment

Prior to acceptance into the program, you may enroll in up to 9 credit hours as a nondegree-seeking (in some cases, post-baccalaureate) student. Enrollment does not guarantee acceptance. Learn more about nondegree-seeking university student admissions.
