This online graduate certificate program consists of four courses totaling 12 credit hours. All students start with the courses Use of Business Intelligence and Essentials of Data Warehouses to gain a solid foundation in the discipline’s fundamentals, uses and applications.

From here, you’ll select two more courses from electives covering enterprise resource planning systems, dashboards and visualizations, business intelligence for customer relationship management, data modeling, data retrieval and analysis and database marketing.

All courses are 100% online — no on-campus visits are required. The typical student takes one class per semester to complete the program in two years.

However, automatic admission is not guaranteed. Instead, you’ll apply to the MBA or master’s in information science and technology following the completion of your certificate.
