Courses

The online graduate certificate in agroforestry is 100 percent online: no campus visits are required.

Successful completion of the program requires 12 credit hours of course work (four 3-credit-hour courses). Three courses are required: FOREST 7385, FOREST 8385, FOREST 8395. One course may be selected from the electives course listings. A minimum "B" grade must be obtained in all courses. Graduate certificate courses count toward the on-campus and online agroforestry MS degree.

The chart below shows when the courses are traditionally offered. Courses are 3 credit hours each, unless stated otherwise. The University reserves the right to change or cancel courses as needed.

State authorization

States require that the University of Missouri-Columbia be authorized to deliver university-level distance/online education to their residents. Each state handles this process differently.
