How to apply

Fulfill the admission requirements

  • BSN, MSN or RN-MSN from a regionally accredited college or university accredited by a nationally recognized nursing accrediting agency (CCNE or AACN).
  • The GPA required for admissions is a 3.2 on a 4.0 scale (calculated on the last 60 hours of the BSN degree) or a minimum of 3.2 for the MSN.
  • Current unencumbered Missouri licensure or unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in the jurisdiction where study is to be conducted.
  • The license must remain unencumbered throughout the program.
  • GRE results, recommended but not required.
  • The following courses are pre-requisite requirements and must be completed with a grade of 3.0 or better: NURSING 5550 or MSN theory equivalent course; NURSING 5555 or MSN research equivalent course; NURSING 5527 or MSN cultural diversity equivalent course; and NURSING 5528 or MSN policy, politics and ethics equivalent course.
